Shoots Above

Westport South School has a fantastic garden in the old swimming pool area. Mrs Cummings has created an area for every classroom to plant whatever they would like. There are so many vegetables...silver beet, lettuces, corn, tomatoes, beans and they are sold to anyone who wants them for a very cheap price. She has also organised compost bins which all the school food scraps go into. There are a group of helpful children who are keen on gardening that help Mrs Cummings.
